About Me Lately

P.S. Some data: I live in Bellingham, Washington, with my husband of 34 years, Warren Miller. I am the mother of three and the grandmother of two. I raised my kids and taught English at community colleges. At 65, I write and make applesauce. (Throw in some currants. They make a nice addition.) I am the companion of a ginger cat and a goofy collie named Merlin. I've published short stories, book reviews, and articles, in print and online. I'm writing a memoir, on the days when I have the courage to remember, and I continue to write short stories. I let my blog slide for a couple of years while I navigated a weird disease, but I plan to take it up again. I might change the title. Check my Facebook page. I support Elizabeth Warren for president. My friend Chaiti Sen persuaded me to support the work of Refuse Fascism by pointing out how the people of Puerto Rico vacated their governor's office. Occupying the streets sends a powerful message.
